Job Summary
The Ellison Medical Institute is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician and Director, Preventative Medicine Clinic to join our esteemed team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical excellence with innovation and technology development. As Physician and Director, you will lead the creation and implementation of high-impact and forward-thinking patient care protocols focused on risk assessment and prevention, build meaningful relationships with patients and contribute to shaping the strategic direction of our clinic and preventative health program as part of a collaborative team.
Primary Focus Area:
Required Education: Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
Required Experience: 3+ years in outpatient preventative health. Focus in high-risk patients, cancer prevention, cancer survivorship care is a plus.
Required Field of Expertise: Board-Certified in Internal Medicine.
Required License/Certification: Physician license and ability to practice in California, BLS and ACLS cards for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Salary: $215,635-$337,956

- Advance Preventative Care: Champion initiatives to innovate and elevate risk assessment and preventative services with a focus in cancer prevention and cancer survivorship care. Implement groundbreaking treatment methodologies and advance the field preventative health.
- Provide Comprehensive Care: Conduct thorough patient histories, perform precise physical examinations, and execute medical procedures.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physician assistants, and physicians, to deliver comprehensive care.
- Manage and Monitor: Oversee patient progress, update accurate medical records, adjust treatment plans, and communicate significant changes to physicians.
- Enhance Patient Outcomes: Prescribe medications, offer continuous care for complex conditions, and guide patients on preventive care and treatment.
- Develop Strategies: Formulate and execute patient management plans, coordinate referrals, and manage diagnostic studies and their interpretation.
- Innovate: Work with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement cutting-edge patient care protocols and operational workflows for our Preventative Medicine Clinic.
