The Ellison Medical Institute seeks a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Specialist to play a vital role in managing and optimizing our HR systems and processes, focusing on data integrity, reporting, and operational efficiency. This position leads HRIS workflow configuration, data audits, and reporting within the UKG platform to ensure accurate data drives strategic decision-making.
As a trusted partner to managers and employees, you will provide frontline HR support, spearhead process improvements, and ensure compliance within a fast-paced, evolving environment. Job Accountabilities:
- Manage and Optimize HRIS Workflows and Data Integrity: Configure and maintain UKG workflows, dashboards, and reports; conduct audits; troubleshoot system issues; resolve data discrepancies; and recommend enhancements.
- Lead Process Improvement and Compliance Efforts: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance HR processes; administer workers’ compensation and leave programs; manage projects such as system upgrades while adhering to change management best practices.
- Deliver Analytics and Reporting: Collaborate with stakeholders to produce actionable people analytics reports that inform workforce planning and organizational strategy.
- Contribute to Employee Engagement and Culture: Assist in programs that strengthen organizational culture, improve team member experience, and reinforce company values.
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field demonstrating strong analytical thinking and comprehensive reasoning essential for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience: 2-3 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years hands-on HRIS expertise (preferably UKG), including system configuration, data auditing, reporting, and workflow management. Experience supporting multiple business units and involvement in process improvement or HR system implementation projects preferred.
- Required Skills:
- Advanced HRIS and data integrity expertise.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with proficiency in UKG Analytics, Excel, or similar tools.
- Solid knowledge of HR principles, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Proven project management and process improvement skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential information.
