Job Summary
The Ellison Medical Institute is seeking a talented and driven Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic research team. The primary focus is to develop and validate a cutting-edge novel ex vivo human liver model for investigating drug-induced liver injury. Leveraging non-transplantable human livers, the project aims to evaluate liver function, tissue architecture, and molecular responses to to drug exposure.
This innovative research will advance whole-organ technologies to assess hepatotoxicity, particularly in the context of targeted cancer therapies, and support the development of biomarker-based approaches to quantify liver function during chronic drug exposure. This position offers exceptional opportunities for scientific growth and the chance to contribute to high-impact, translational research.
This is a one year appointment, with the potential for extension based on research progress.
